Description

Beet pulp is the by-product making sugar from sugar beets that is a high calorie, low protein, low sugar fiber source for horses and cattle. The highly digestible fiber component of this feed makes it very desireable. When fed to horses it is usually soaked and thereby provides a carrier for additional moisture.  When used in this form it is much easier to incorporate in a horses diet as it doesn't take as long to soak up moisture.  In shredded form it can be added without soaking.
