Premium Alfalfa/Timothy Cubes are formed by coarsely grinding Standlee forage and forcing it through a large die with heat and steam. The mix of Alfalfa and Timothy Grass combines two of the most popular forages fed to horses in a blend that is moderate to low in protein and sugar. Widely used by the horse enthusiast on trips as the 2" cubes provide a high quality forage source without the handling problems of baled hay.  Another advantage of this product is a reduced amount of waste that is associated with feeding baled hay.  Because the cubing process does not require the grinding of the hay it is a more natural fiber source.
